What we do
We design and install EV charge points for UK businesses — workplaces, fleets and depots, destination and customer car parks, and commercial property. That is all we do. We are not an energy supplier looking to sell you a tariff, and we are not a general electrician fitting the occasional charger between jobs. Charging infrastructure is the whole business, which means we see the problems — a supply that can't take the load, a grant that closed last quarter, a 22kW unit that never charges a car faster than 11kW — before they become your problem.
Why independence matters
Most of the pages ranking for "EV chargers for business" belong to energy suppliers. They have an obvious conflict: they sell you the electricity and, usually, their own hardware, so they can't honestly compare charge point operators, hardware brands, or funded-versus-capex models. We can. We specify OCPP-open hardware so you are never locked into one network's software or tariffs, we recommend the charger that fits your vehicles and dwell times rather than the one we stock, and we tell you when the answer is "fewer chargers than you think" or "not yet — lay the ducting and wait."
Standards, not slogans
Every installation is delivered by OZEV-authorised installers (required to claim the Workplace Charging Scheme grant on your behalf), wired to BS 7671 (18th Edition, Section 722) and the IET Code of Practice for EV Charging Equipment Installation, 5th edition. Workplace units meet the Electric Vehicles (Smart Charge Points) Regulations 2021, and any public-facing site is designed with the Public Charge Point Regulations 2023 and PAS 1899 accessibility in mind. We manage the Distribution Network Operator (DNO) connection — the G99 application and, where it helps, load management to keep you within your existing supply.
Current, not stale
The EV grant and tax landscape changed on 1 April 2026. The Workplace Charging Scheme rose to £500 per socket, several other schemes closed, and the company-car and capital-allowance positions moved. We keep our guidance dated and sourced to primary gov.uk and HMRC references, because getting these numbers right is the difference between a business case that stands up and one that doesn't. If we quote you a figure, you'll get the source and the date it was verified.
How we work with you
It starts with a free feasibility check: your parking, your incoming supply and spare capacity, and how many drivers need a charge and for how long. From that we give you an indicative socket count and a cost net of any grant — before you commit to anything. If the project makes sense we design it, handle the grant voucher and DNO application, install and commission to standard, and set up the OCPP back-office so you can bill, monitor and manage. If it doesn't make sense yet, we'll tell you.
